SYNOPSIS OF SCENES LEADING TO MUSIC
ACT I. i
At an airport, four actors and actresses arrive to meet their agent and as they wait each tells of his or her ego and background with thoughts as to what the new movie will do for his career. Song: GONNA MAKE IT HAPPEN
I.ii
On the plane the two actresses compare publicity of the past and hope that this new movie will launch their new directions in: WILL IT BE ALL RIGHT
I.iii
In a restaurant in Florida a man decides that he’s going to get out of the business and fulfill his mother’s dream of opening an inn with: MOMMA
I.iiii
In Montana the man meets a ghost, but doesn’t realize he will be saving everyone with his renovations as it is explained to him: THINGS ARE NOT WHAT THEY SEEM
ACT II.i
This scene has a fight scene which will be left to the director and musicians to provide their own creative concoction in the background.
After the fight the living man encounters a female ghost and they both come to find each other attractive in: DREAMS
II.ii
Two of the ghosts who have always avoided each other finally realize they are a perfect match in: MAD ABOUT YOU
ACT III.i
With all the pieces in place the ghosts realize their years of waiting is done with: GOING HOME
III.ii
During this scene a radio plays in the background and this gives the director and musicians a chance to replicate a few of their favorite 60s tunes.
At the opening of the Inn the ghosts and living reunite and all turns out good with: BRIGHT BLUE DAY
